Hubbard Employee Training Program Designed to Provide Opportunities and Growth

The Orlando Construction Division of Hubbard Construction is currently creating a new and exciting training program for all field level employees. It is designed to develop leadership and provide opportunities for employees within the company.

"Our goal is to provide Hubbard employees real opportunity for professional development and to assist them with defining their career path within the company," said Human Resources Training Coordinator Brian Smylie.

It's easy to get started in the training program. Employees choose a topic they would like to learn more about, then they work through a series of training modules designed for a specific function within that career field.

Smylie is also working with Orange County Public Schools to offer a vocational training program at Mid-Florida Technical School in several craft trade areas including Pipelaying, Asphalt Plant Operations and Roadway. These classes should provide 20 trained personnel per session to add to our growing workforce.
